eloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend passed away peacefully at her home Saturday, September 20, 2025, with her family by her side. Dixie was born on February 14, 1948, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, to the late Wilson and Rose (King) Sincler, Jr.

Dixie graduated from Delton Kellogg High School Class of 1967. After completing cosmetology school, she went on to own her own business until retirement. She was an amazing crafter and creative artist. Crafted and sold everything from bunnies and cows, to her nearly life sized Santas with hand sculpted faces and genuine fur coats. Dixie was an avid bingo player and gardener. She loved her flowers and spending time in her flower garden. For many years summertime was officially boating season. She loved her time with Doug boating around the state, finding great new lakes and rivers to navigate. She was most known for her incredible strength, resilience, and feisty spirit. She loved all who were a part of her life. If you had the privilege to know her you couldn't help but love her. Dixie had a beautiful heart, brilliant mind, and an unwavering faith and trust in god.

Surviving Dixie is her husband of 34 years, Douglas Tracy; Children, Christine (James Scarlata) Walker, Daniel (Stacey Banks) Atkinson, David (Rhea Terburg) Atkinson, Leandra Tracy and extended family Matt and Cindy Hook; grandchildren, Jordan (Dan) Elmblad, Gabriel (Samantha) Walker, Jacob, Spencer, and Callum Walker, Marley, Drew and Ty Atkinson, Lucas (Hannah Bechtol) Atkinson, Claire and Carmen Atkinson, and Alana Hook. Preceded in death by several siblings, aunts and uncles.

Friends are welcome to join the family for visitation from 10AM to 11AM, on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial and Cremation Services, 622 South Burdick Street, Kalamazoo, Michigan 49007.
