Dennis Leroy Hopper

Hopper, Dennis Leroy of Gobles, MI.

Passed away Friday, April 26, 2024 at his home. Dennis was born December 2, 1943 in Allegan, son of the late John and Barbara Hopper. Outside of his time in the Army, Dennis lived his entire life in the Gobles area. He loved working on old electronics, from televisions to radios and anything in between. Dennis had built his own home and was a staunch GoblesTigers fan. He honorably served his country as a member of the US Army where he was stationed in Alaska. Surviving is his wife, Melody, whom he married in 1967; 6 children, Timothy Hopper, George (Kelli) Hopper, Kelly (Eric) Arthur, Marcy (Troy) Faulk, Keri (Kyle) Thompson, Andrea (Eric) Lopez; 17 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; siblings, Jim Hopper, Jean Wagner and Mary (Larry) Sumner; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ruth DeWind; nephews, Lonnie Harbolt, Brent Pennels and Tom DeWind. Following his wishes cremation has taken place.
