Delores George

Passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Borgess Medical Center at the age of 79. Delores was born in Kalamazoo on August 12, 1938, the daughter of the late Glen Ross and Effie Sloan Ross. She was a married to Dan George in 1966; who preceded her in death in 2014. She is survived by her four children, Kay (David) Voss of Indiana, Rodney Overacker of Baldwin, Jeff Hibbard of Kalamazoo and Gene W. George of Kalamazoo; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters, Harold Ross, Tom Ross, Roger Ross, Nancy Austin and Betty Davidson; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister and one brother, Evelyn Cartwright and Floyd Ross. Friends may visit with the family from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Comstock Chapel, 6121 King Highway, Kalamazoo, MI 49048. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 27, 2018 at the funeral chapel officiated by Pastor Greg Carlson, with interment to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
