Deborah Ann Boley, 67, of Richland, formerly of Union City, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Ascension Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo and went to be with her Savior.

Her life will be celebrated at an 11:00 AM memorial service on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Lighthouse Community Church, 4321 S. 11th Street, Kalamazoo, MI 49009.

Deb was born January 15, 1956 in Coldwater, Michigan to John and Myrna (Maurer) Soncrant. She grew up in Union City and graduated from Union City High School with the Class of 1974. On June 21, 1975, she married Bryon Boley at the Union City Wesleyan Church. Deb worked at Sears in Lansing, Bradenton, FL and Battle Creek and served as a playground supervisor for Gull Lake Schools.

Among her siblings, Deb was known as the "fun sister". She had a great sense of humor and was always smiling. She enjoyed cooking and baking, was a fantastic housekeeper and was passionate about fitness. Deb was a member of Lighthouse Community Church in Kalamazoo. She volunteered at the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission caring for homeless people in the community. Her love and compassion shone through in everything she did.

Left to cherish Deb's memory are her husband of 48 years, Dr. Bryon Boley; son, David (Hannah Laurin) Boley of Kalamazoo; siblings, Liz (John) Pancost of Ceresco, Stephen (Suzanne) Soncrant of Belleville and Sharon (Gabe) Boley of Union City; and granddaughter, Marina Bruno of Ludington.

Deb was preceded in death by her parents.
