Frederick, Deane 1/13/1933 - 12/23/2022 Kalamazoo Deane went to be with his Lord and Savior, Friday December 23, 2022. He was born January 13, 1933 in Vicksburg, the son of Forrest and Gladys (Yeagley) Frederick. He was a Korean War veteran, proudly serving in the U.S. Air Force for12 years. He retired from his business, Fred's Heating and Cooling in 1998. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church, where he attended until his health declined. On November 1, 1956, he married Sue Carol Woods of Kalamazoo. Sue preceded him in death in 2017, they were married for 60 years. Surviving are five children, Terri (Bill) Pelfresne, Carol (John) Schultz, Deana Weidner, Deane (Rhonda) Frederick II, Amy Troff; 11 grandchildren, Jessica DeBoer, Ryan (Becky) DeBoer, Denny Schultz, Julie Schultz, Kara (Alex) Haan, Brody (Raechel) Weidner, Regan Troff, Ian Troff, and Olivia (Tyler) Dunithan; 3 great-grandchildren, Marlaina Troff, Henry and Hadlyn Dunithan; several nieces & nephews, and his "Very Good Boy" Sammy. He loved spending time with the family at the cottage in Honor, Michigan; entertaining friends and family, fishing, and checking out the tourist spots while in the area. He maintained a lifelong friendship with Russ & Dianne Bowling from BearLake. He was very much a part of his grandchildrens' lives and was amazed by his great-grandchildren as they grew. It was important to him for all his bird feeders to be full, as he liked to watch and take pictures of the different birds: he loved taking pictures. He was known for recording the music of Eddie Arnold, Marty Robbins, Jim Reeves, and Johnny Cash, etc. He had a love of watching Black and White movies, from Suspense to Romance, to Westerns.
