David Witherspoon

David Witherspoon, aged 16, of Grand Rapids, unexpectedly went Home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 26, 2008. He was preceded in death by his uncles, Darrell and Brian Cantrell; aunts, Sharmeda Cantrell, and Keora Witherspoon; his grandmother, Ellen Witherspoon. He his survived by his mother, Nyree Witherspoon and father, David Cantrell Jr.; his twin sister, Danielle Witherspoon; his baby sister, Kaylee Reed; his aunts, Felicia (Melvin) Williams, Simone (Terran) Cantrell; uncle, Paul (Lisa) Witherspoon; grandparents, Betty and David Cantrell and Roosevelt Nard Jr.; a host of family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday, October 2 from 1 to 5 p.m. at Gillespie Funeral Home, 1865 Eastern Ave. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 3. Family hour at 12 noon at Berean Baptist Church, 1574 Coit Ave. N.E.
