David Henry Bradshaw

Bradshaw, David Henry David Henry Bradshaw, age 79, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at Rose Arbor Hospice Residence. He was born August 20, 1940 in Muskegon, MI, a son of Henry Charles and Anita Mae (DeWitt) Bradshaw. David met the love of his life and best friend, Judy, through his future brother-in-law, Ron Coertse. Within a year, they were married and started their life of 59 years together. David worked as a Tool & Die maker; he retired from GM after they closed the Kalamazoo plant and went on to work at Benteler Automotive in Galesburg. He officially retired from there at the age of 72. David genuinely enjoyed working and was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He enjoyed staying active with camping, boating, water skiing, family vacations, trips to Lake Michigan in their Jeep, floating in Chris and Tim's pool, his Harley motorcycle, hunting, shooting, and most of all, spending time with his family. David was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Lynn Bradshaw; parents; brother, Daniel Bradshaw; and sister, Nancy Luchies. He is survived by his three children, Chris (Tim) Eager, John Bradshaw, and Steve (Debbi) Bradshaw; four grandchildren, Erin (Aaron Gilles) Bradshaw, Michael Bradshaw, Ashley Bradshaw, and David Bradshaw; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jane Finch.
