David Boucher

Boucher, David Vicksburg, Michigan David J. Boucher, age 70 of Vicksburg, died at home surrounded by his loving family on March 27, 2022. He was born on April 24, 1951 in Kalamazoo, the son of Robert and Mary Louise (Angell) Boucher. David grew up in the Vicksburg area. He graduated from Bronson High School and attended Glen Oaks Community College. On March 20, 1971 he married his junior high sweetheart Constance "Connie" Locey and just celebrated their 51st anniversary. David was a true family man. Over the years, he worked as a groundman for Consumers Power and for over 25 years at the Upjohn Company and Pharmacia. More recently he enjoyed his time in Environmental Services at Bronson Hospital. He loved the exercise and social interactions with his role at the hospital. Family was always his main focus though. Over the years he was active in Vicksburg Little League with his children and grandchildren. David enjoyed being the daycare grandpa for his grandchildren when they were young. His family includes his wife, Connie Boucher; his children: Michael (Holly) Boucher and Kellie (Marty) Thomas; his grandchildren: Kyler Ridenour, Will Thomas, Delaney Thomas, and Cameron Boucher; his brother, Tom (Carol) Boucher; his sister, Carol Boucher; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers: Jeffrey and Lon Boucher. Friends may visit with his family on Sunday, April 3, 2022, from 1:00 PM-4:00 PM at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Burial & Cremation Services, 622 S. Burdick Street, Kalamazoo, MI 49007, where a funeral service will be held on Monday, April 4, 2022 at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Boughton Cemetery.
