Darlene Griffith

Darlene Jean (Saddler) Griffith, age 91, of Kalamazoo, passed away on Friday, November 21st. Darlene was a devoted wife and mother who spent her career as a bank teller and worked alongside her husband, Dale, at Frosty Boy. She took pride in hard work, family, and doing things the right way, and she never minded reminding others how things ought to be done. She was also a devoted member of Westwood United Methodist Church. She enjoyed traveling, spending time in Florida, and playing cards. Darlene is survived by her children, Denise (Dave) Garrison and Duane (Tammy) Griffith; her granddaughter Samantha (John) Bergeon; and six additional grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Ruby Saddler, her husband Dale Griffith, three siblings, and her daughter-in-law Elizabeth Griffith. Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM at Westwood United Methodist Church, 538 Nichols Road, Kalamazoo, MI 49006, followed by a service at 11:00 AM and a luncheon. Burial will take place at Mt.
