Daniel Schaner

Daniel G. Schaner, age 75, of Reynoldsburg, formerly of Grand Rapids, died March 31, 2008 at the Mt. Carmel East Hospital. Daniel was born on March 4, 1933 to the late Paul and Alvina Schaner (Gimnich) in Grand Rapids, MI. Daniel was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Schaner and his grandson, Connor Schwarzell. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Patricia; daughters, Victoria (Jerry Crane) Gloyd of Reynoldsburg, Susan (Henry) Schwarzell of Canal Winchester; sons, William (Elizabeth) Schaner of Lansing, Steven (Elizabeth) Schaner of Grand Rapids, Thomas (Shelley) Schaner of Pataskala; grandchildren, David (Courtney Muldovan) Gloyd, Kendra Gloyd, Haley Schaner, Abigail Schaner, Samantha Schaner, Katharine Schaner, Anne Schaner, Jason Schwarzell and Ryan Schwarzell; great granddaughter, Layla Gloyd; sister, Phyllis DeBok of Grand Rapids; and several nieces and nephews. Daniel is employed at Data Memory Marketing as National Account Manager and was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. Friends may call on Friday, April 4, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the PFEIFER FUNERAL HOME. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, 10:30 a.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1051 Waggoner Road, Reynoldsburg, OH.
