Daniel Heger

Daniel (Danny) Andrew Heger was born Tuesday November 12, 1991 and passed away unexpectedly Thursday February 10, 2022. Danny's life was fully lived in too short of a time. But within that time, he shared great joy with family and friends, love of animals, empathy for humans, and showed great fortitude against adversity. His family will remember his warm smile, witty humor, and magnetic personality which brought them together during holidays and for family events. Danny will be forever remembered by his many friends and colleagues for his energy and passion for life, which extended to his professions in healthcare and animal care. Danny was born and lived his childhood years in Owosso, MI. He was nurtured through junior and senior years of high school by his sister Dawn (Neville) Millar near the town of Delton, MI where he lived with them on the Lux Arbor Reserve. Danny ran cross-country for DKHS and would spend endless hours enjoying the vastness of the reserve and connecting with both people and nature. Danny attended Western Michigan University and graduated as paramedic from KVCC. Danny's other passions included fostering pets for SPCA, organizing family gatherings, world travel, socializing with his friends, and advocating for LGBTQ rights. He was known to be able to get anyone to laugh at any time. He is survived by his mother Catherine Heger, siblings Joel (Carmen) Heger, Tracy (Jerry) Ashbrook, Kristie (Mark) Jensen, Dawn Millar, Jason (Heather) Heger, Jeff (Alanda) Heger, Jonathan (Nicole) Heger, Jerrod Heger, and Deanna Heger. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews Emma Heger, Payton Heger, Victoria Heger, Ava Heger, Beatrice Millar, Brice Heger, Carson Heger, Nadia Millar, Jaxon Heger, and Molly Heger. Danny is predeceased by their father Frank Heger Jr. and Grandparents Velma Hageman, Raymond Hageman, Frank Heger Sr., Jean Robertson, maternal aunt Carol Schlief and uncle Kenneth Hageman and paternal uncle Peter Heger.
