Hall, Daniel 12/17/1954 - 1/11/2021 Lawton, MI Daniel James Hall, Beloved Husband, Father, and Grandfather passed away peacefully at his home in Lawton, MI on January 11th, 2021 at the age of 66. Born in Kermit, TX, Dan spent most of his adolescence in his beloved Taos, NM. He travelled extensively and had many adventures along the way. He found himself in Kalamazoo in the early eighties, and settled here in Michigan for the duration. Trained as a welder and passionate about fabricating, he worked hard through the years at Bullis and Hume, Kal-Fab, Byers Manufacturing and Van Kal. Dan became disabled in 1992. He had always been artistic and this showed in the beautiful wooden jewelry and keepsake boxes he painstakingly crafted with the smallest of sticks; or the colored pencil portraits and cards he would draw for his wife and kids. Whether he was working with metal, wood or paper, Dan would persevere over the smallest of details and not rest until it was done to his liking. He was a man of few words, a true gentleman, devoted to his family, always ready to help whatever the need was and most of all, he was loved so much by all who knew him best. Dan was preceded in death by his father Jack Hall, mother Miriam Campbell and sister Jackie Hall Martinez. Surviving are Dan's wife Kathleen Hall (Sullivan), 3 sons; Derek Nondorf (Shelby), Mason Nondorf and Joshua Hall (Erica). 5 grandchildren; Taylor, Megan, Miles, Mason and Isabel. Dan's siblings are; Rodger Hall (Barbara), Betty Weseman (Charles), Mary Hall and Richard Hall, all of New Mexico and, several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church of Lawton, MI on Saturday January 23rd, 2021 at 11:30am. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the West Michigan Cancer Center or Hospice of Southwest Michigan.
