Damien Robert MacCord (age 44) passed away suddenly but peacefully in his sleep at his home in North Port, Florida on March 2, 2021. Damien was born to Ann (Porte) MacCord and Bob MacCord on July 27th, 1976 in Midland, Michigan. He attended Comstock High School (class of 1994) and later attended Michigan State University before graduating from Western Michigan University. After graduation, Damien worked for several international companies and traveled extensively. Damien married his wife, Jenifer (Bell) MacCord on August 28, 1999. They then lived in Michigan, Tennessee, Paris, France and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, before finally landing in North Port, Florida. These locations offered him and his family many opportunities for exciting excursions! Damien's travels included England, Scotland, Belgium, Netherlands, Italy, Germany, Finland, Spain, South Africa, China, Japan, Thailand (a favorite) taiwan, Indonesia, Myanmar, North Korea (another favorite experience) South Korea, Cambodia, United Arab Emirates, Austrailia, Vietnam, Singapore, Hong Kong and The Philippines. Damien loved making people laugh, whether it was through his storytelling, his wit or his pranks. He loved spending time with his daughters, Ashlyn (18) and Gabriella (14) and he loved being goofy. His latest and greatest pastime was boating and spent many peaceful hours on the water during the last year. He is survived by his parents, Ann and Bob, his wife, Jennifer, his daughters Ashlyn and Gabriella, his sisters, Sarah (Tim VanWormer) and Abby (Michael Giddings), his brother-in-law his nephews, his cousins, his aunts and uncles, in-laws and his friends....we are all going to miss him very much.
