Middlebrooks, Dalton Kalamazoo On the evening of April 8th, 2021 Dalton passed away at Bronson Methodist Hospital with family at this side. On January 5th, 1930 Dalton was born in Tueplo, Ark to the late Earl and Agnes(Morgan) Middlebrooks. In his early 20s he moved to Flint, MI to work at General Motors Corporation. While living in Flint, MI he met the love of his life, Grace. They later married on July 19th, 1959. They then moved to Kalamazoo where he worked at Rex Papermill, Burroughs and then Kalamazoo Public Schools as a bus mechanic. Dalton and Grace both retired from KPS and later moved north to Lake City, MI. He was an avid outdoorsman; fishing was his favorite past time. Every summer he returned to Arkansas to fish on the Cache River with his cousins. Dalton and Grace combined had 6 children, Donald Hose, Lois Hose, Jeffery Hose, Susan Embler, Patty Middlebrooks and Lori Huff. Many grand and great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Dalton was proceeded in death by his wife Grace Middlebrooks in 2014. His siblings Willie Middlebrooks, Letha Davis, George Middlebrooks and Bill Middlebrooks, surviving is Roy Middlebrooks of Kalamazoo. He was also proceeded in death by a grandson Michael Ringle, son-in-law Charles Huff, and daughter Patty Middlebrooks. No viewing or funeral arrangements have been made at this time. He will be laid to rest with his late wife, Grace at Mt. Ever-Rest on Drake Rd, in Kalamazoo.
