Christina (Oma) Marie Perkins

Christina (Oma) Marie Perkins, 74, Pipe Creek TX, passed on Thursday, December 7. 2023.

She was born in Kalamazoo, MI to Harold and Maryann Meskil. She briefly lived in Jacksonville, NC with her husband during his military enlistment. Once discharged, they moved back to Kalamazoo, MI where they raised their children until retiring to Pipe Creek, TX in 2018. She was a loving soul who was always willing to do for others before herself. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren lovingly referred to her as Oma, and her nieces and nephews always called her Aunt Chris.

She is preceded in death by her father, mother, granddaughter, grandparents, great grandparents and several brother/sister in laws. She is survived by the LOVE OF HER LIFE, her husband, John; her children Roland (Becky), Anna and Maria; her grandchildren Nikkia (Jeff), Taylor (Dan), Desiree, Peyton (Jay), Rebecca, Cameron, Zachary, Layney, and Kaitlin; great grandchildren Matthew, Athen, Skyanna, Spencer, Jayton, Dakota, Jakob, Savvana, Hailey, Jayce, Greylen, and Cameron; siblings Albert (Susan), Linda, Suzanne, and Sandra; brother/sister in laws Dennis (Kathy), Richard (Linda), Deb (Stacey), Diane, Bill (Connie), and Mike (Nancy); and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

A private memorial was held with immediate family. A memorial will be held at a later date in Michigan.

Christina loved with ALL her heart. She would do anything for her children and grand/great grandchildren. She is going to be dearly missed. Forever our guardian angel.
