Charles J. DuBois, age 61, of Grand Rapids, passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2008. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Dykhuizen; and sister, Sandy Fleming. Surviving are his two daughters, and two sons; mother, Betty (VanSluyters) and Richard Jacobs; sisters, Carol (Richard) Hudson, Sharon Patton; "little brother" Bob (Susan) Dykhuizen; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Chuck was a gifted craftsman, carpenter, builder and home repairman. He was known for his ability to repair anything and "if he couldn't fix it…it wasn't broke".
