On Wednesday, March 24, 2021, Chad Douglas, loving son, brother, uncle and grandson passed away at the age of 52, in Phoenix, AZ. Chad was born November 21, 1968 in Big Rapids, MI to Scott and Kay (Baker) Douglas. He graduated from Gull Lake High School in Richland, MI, after receiving a BS degree in Advertising & English from Michigan State University, he began his career in advertising at Beardsley Advertising then moved to sales as Director of Sales for a few food companies, including Alouette Cheese, Lever Brothers and lastly Director of Sales, West Region for Aperia Technologies in Burlingame, CA. Besides having a passion for photography, downhill skiing, classic movies, music and gourmet food, Chad loved keeping in touch with many friends, who called him "Dooga", and family members reminiscing about old times and making plans for new adventures. Gone too soon, Chad recently quoted a song: "The time's come for us to part And think of living as it was Into the future we must cross… Must cross"…Widespread Panic, Genesis Chad is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Claude & Joyce Douglas and his maternal grandfather, Harvey Baker. He is survived by his parents, Scott & Kay Douglas, sister, Nikki Roy (David), nephew Marlon Massaro (Nikki), grandmother Myrtie Baker and step-niece and nephew Abby and Luke Roy and his little dog Denny. We will celebrate Chad's life with memories and laughter April 17, 2021, 1pm at Concord Hills Golf Course, 7331 Pulaski Rd, Concord, MI
