Passed away Thursday, February 2, 2012. Cathy was born July 12, 1957 in Kalamazoo, MI the daughter of Edward and Eileen Hofer. She was preceded in death by her parents, grand parents; Frederick and Marvel Jackson, Simon and Mary Hofer, two brothers; Frederick Hofer and David Hofer Sr., a sister; Betty Tafil and other aunts and uncles. Cathy is survived by a son; Joseph Michael (Stephany) Hofer, sisters; Janice (Norman) Elliott, Joette (Ed) Hofer, Susan Hofer, Laurie Richmond and many other nieces and nephews. A Rosary will take place on Sunday, February 26, 2012 at 5:15 PM from The Saint Joseph Catholic Church, 936 Lake St., Kalamazoo, MI. A memorial mass will be held on Monday, February 27, 2012 at 10:30 AM. A luncheon will take place immediately following the service.
