Passed away Tuesday November 12, 2019 at Rose Arbor Hospice. Carrie was born May 10, 1955 in Kalamazoo the daughter of John and Dolores (McGuire) Foster. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving is her son Brian (Tess) Foster of Kalamazoo; mother, Dolores Hayden; step-father, William Hayden of Kalamazoo; siblings, Mary (James) Bennison of Kalamazoo; John Foster of Jackson, Daniel (Amy) Foster of Parchment, Abner (Martha) Foster of Kalamazoo, Molly (Candy Anderson) Foster of Kalamazoo; step-siblings, Elizabeth (David) Boug of Alabama, Susan (John) Newcomb of Illinois, Julie (Jeff) Durham of Delton; four grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Tom Skelton, father John Foster and a nephew, Max Foster. Friends will be received 10 to 11 am Tuesday November 19, 2019 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated following at 11 am with a luncheon to follow. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southwest Michigan.
