Carol Mullen

Carol A. Mullen, age 76 of Kalamazoo, died on April 17, 2025, at Rose Arbor Hospice. She was born on April 14, 1949, in Mason, Michigan, the daughter of Howard and Lea (Moran) Roberts. Carol was a graduate of Mason High School. She received her bachelor's degree from Michigan State University and was a lifelong proud alumnus. Carol worked for the State of Michigan in Childcare licensing for 25 years. When her own daughters had grown, she took a position as a housemother for the Western Michigan University Alpha Chi Omega Sorority House. Carol was a member of the Kalamazoo Area Women's Club Chapter, an affiliate of the General Federation of Women's Clubs. Her family includes her daughters: Erin (Eric) Buytendorp and Emily (Adam) Feldpausch; her grandchildren: Lukas, Mason, Audrey, and Sadie; her brother Raymond (Marcia) Roberts; her sister Rosemary Roberts; her brother-in-law Richard (Linda) Mullen; her brother-in-law Donald (Rose) Mullen and several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to visit with her family on Thursday, May 1, 2025, from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial and Cremation Services, 3926 South 9th Street, Kalamazoo, Michigan 49009, where a memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM with Pastor Jim Dyke officiating.
