McCracken, Carol 1/12/1959 - 1/17/2023 Lawton On January 17, 2023, Carol McCracken passed away peacefully at U of M Hospital with her husband by her side. Carol was born in Kalamazoo on Nov. 12, 1959, the daughter of Robert and Mary (Redmond) Johnson. For the past 15 years, Carol worked at PNC Bank as a loan officer. She often won the yearly "Circle of Excellence" and "All Star" award. Before PNC, Carol worked as a dispatcher for the Kalamazoo township police/fire department (which is where she met her husband Ron). Carol was a big Detroit Tiger fan. She enjoyed taking trips with Ron to catch a baseball game, take in a concert or try her luck at the casino. On a sunny day you might find Carol walking South Haven pier, jumping on her riding lawn mower, (diet coke in hand) or taking a relaxing stroll with her dog Buddy. Monday nights were reserved for watching American Idol or the Voice with her sister Theresa. Carol was known as the family photographer, capturing countless memories. She will be deeply missed. Carol was preceded in death by her sister: Barbara Liggins on Oct. 17,1991. Surviving beside her parents are her husband: Ron to whom she was married for thirty years, son Josh (Krystle), stepdaughter Tracy , 3 grandchildren: Kayleigh, Aiden and Lexi, four legged friend Buddy, 11 siblings: Bill (Jill), Mike (Barb), Patricia, Theresa (Rod), Steve (Peggy), Tom (Linda), Jane (Ron), Dave (Lori), Dan (Cheryl), Cathy and Beth (Tim), several nieces & nephews and great nieces & nephews. There will be no public services. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice
