Carol Buck

Carol Rae Buck, 70, beloved sister and Aunt Carol, long time resident of Paw Paw, MI, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning February 26, 2022 at the Glenn Arbor Hospice Residence in Battle Creek, MI. Carol was born in St. John's MI March 8, 1951 and was a life long Michigan resident. For 30 years she taught art to the youngsters of Kalamazoo Public Schools. Additionally, she shared her love of art with children as the owner and operator of Creative Art Camp in Kalamazoo. Everyone who was lucky enough to come in contact with Carol shared in her joy of gardening, art and kindness. The even luckier ones tasted her berry pies or home made jam. Carol is survived by three siblings: Celeste Tethal (Virginia), Michael (Karen) Buck (Michigan) and Marsha Kruger (North Carolina) as well as 9 nieces and nephews and 16 great nieces and nephews who live and love her from around the country and the world. A memorial service will be held at Freshwater Community Church, 600 E Michigan Ave, Paw Paw, MI 49079 at 2 p.m on Friday, March 4, 2022. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to a charity of the giver's choice. Carol's love of art, gardening and kindness to all creatures made everyone around her cherish the time they spent with her.
