Carl Magoon

MAGOON (Sand Lake) - Mr. Carl Magoon, age 58, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 10, 2009. He grew up on a farm and was one of seven brothers and eight sisters. Carl was a member of Pierson Bible Church and the Tri-County Eagles Club. He was a truck driver, was a former member of Mounted Patrol for Kent County, worked for the Kent County Animal Patrol, and worked on the farms. He is survived by his wife, Alberta Jo Jensen whom he married on September 20, 1985; children, Tony and Toni Magoon, Tina Cavanes, Annette and Matt Flora, Carla and Moshe Bachar, Brande and Dannon Semposki, Gene and Toni Magoon, and Tasha Magoon; 16 grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Inez and Robert Hough, Mrs. Patricia Seymour, Mrs. Lillian Dines, Marie and Alan McClary, Clare and Lore Magoon, James and Karen Magoon, Betty and Steve Hilbrands, Jim and Verna Smigiel, Jerald Magoon, Joyce and Ron Paige. Jerry Magoon; sister-in-law, Mrs. John (Donna) Magoon; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Elsie Jean Utter, and Susan Porter, brother, John L. Magoon, and his parents, Clare and Gerda Magoon. The Service of Praise and Thanksgiving for the gift of eternal life for Mr. Magoon will be Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at Pierson Bible Church with Pastor Tom Sluys officiating.
