Carl DiMaria passed away peacefully April 11, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend. He is preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Irene DiMaria; and son, Carl Anthony DiMaria. He is survived by his two daughters, Christine DiMaria and Carrie DiMaria; grandchildren, Kaitlyn DiMaria and Jason Mackey (Julia Mackey); as well as great-grandson, Jaxon Mackey.

Carl graduated from St. Phillips Catholic High School in Battle Creek, Michigan. He loved playing football for St. Phillips and made the All-State Conference during his playing career. He went on to attend Western Michigan University and received his Bachelor of Science degree in business. He had a long career with Ameritech Yellow Pages Publishing and was the proud recipient of several President's Club sales awards.

In earlier days Carl enjoyed playing guitar and singing professionally. He loved all music and was a talented musician. Once he was married, he focused on family life which he enjoyed very much. While Carl enjoyed all sports, it is widely known that his favorite pastime was Notre Dame football! He was a very devoted lifetime fan.

Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Thursday, May 7, 2026, 11 a.m., at St. Robert's of Newminster Church, 6477 Ada Dr. SE, Ada, Michigan. Rev. Tony Russo presiding. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: St. Robert Samaritan Fund.
