Bruce Vicol

After a long battle of cancer, Bruce Castin Vicol at age 63 of Kalamazoo, MI passed away surrounded by family and loved ones. Bruce had a strong work ethic and an extensive knowledge of many trades. He was employed at B&G Custom Works as an AutoCAD Programmer. He loved his job and everyone he worked with. He was a hard worker and took pride in what he did. He was so dedicated that he worked up until 2 weeks before he passed. Even when he wasn't working he stayed busy with different projects of his own and projects of his family members. He was the "go to handyman" in the family who could repair or build anything. His passion was helping others in making people happy. Bruce loved anything outdoors, camping, fishing, working in the yard, and going to garage sales. The thing he loved most was spending time with family and friends. Bruce is preceded in death by his mom and dad, Nick and Bonnie Vicol. He is survived by his Wife, Deborah (Johnson) Vicol; Children, Joshua Vicol, Kelly Vicol, and Ryan (Jenna) Vicol; Step-Children, Scott Johnson, Matthew Jones, and Sarah (Drew) Haroldson; Grandchildren, Damian, Aliyah, Kylie, Landen, and Jaylah; Great-Children, Laylah, and Cameron; Sisters, Kim (Terry) Nordquist, Terry (Rob) Knapp, Nancy (Scott) Keyes and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will take place Friday July 26th at 3:00 PM at Berean Baptist Church, 7813 S. 12th St. Portage, MI. Refreshment's will immediately follow the service at the church.
