Brian Robert Mackaluso

Brian Robert Mackaluso, 31, of Winter Park, Fl., passed away on Sept. 11, 2010. Born in Battle Creek, Michigan, to Sandra (Wilson) Aldrich and Robert L. Mackaluso, Jr. He was a 1998 graduate of Harper Creek High School. Brian moved to Orlando in 2000. He graduated in 2001 with dual bachelor degrees in Telecommunications and Electronics Engineering from ITT Tech Institute. Brian was a retail manager with Best Buy, Inc. He began his career with Best Buy in Nov., 1998 in Waterford, MI, working his way thru college. In 2000 he moved and transferred to Best Buy in Altamonte Springs, Fl and continued his career and education in the Orlando area. Brian enjoyed spending time with family and friends and volunteering his time and skills to help others. Brian is survived by his son, Dominic, Palm City, Fl; mother, Sandra Aldrich, Winter Park, Fl; father and step mother, Robert L. and Sharon Mackaluso Jr., Augusta, MI; companion, Kim Ruff, Oviedo, Fl; step-brothers, Eric Mackaluso, Hoboken, NJ ,Lance Aldrich, Battle Creek, MI and Ryan Aldrich, Waterford, MI; and grandparents, Bob and Mary Lou Mackaluso, Battle Creek, MI. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Ethel Wilson, Battle Creek, MI. A Memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010 at The Elks Lodge, 1200 Harmonia Rd., Battle Creek, MI, with Rev. David Mackaluso presiding.
