Kelley , Brandon Mont'Clair Brandon Mont'Clair Kelley was born March 13, 1989 in Kalamazoo, Michigan and died on August 31, 2020 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Brandon looked forward to being reunited with his loved ones who preceded him in death --his beloved Mother, Tammy LaVern Kelley, Father, Lowell Gregory Kelley, Grandfather (Pops), John Howard Pullen, Great-Grandfather, Clarence Odell Hooker, Great-Grandmother, Willie Mae McCants, Aunts Janice Elaine Parks, Jamie Marie Parks, Great-Aunt Catherine Ampey, and Great-Uncle, Matthew Swanson Hooker. In life, Brandon will be remembered for his contagious smile, constant laughter and sense of humor, love for fitness, his perfect wave pattern, his respectfulness when speaking to his elders, and his introspective conversations. He was proud to be a father, and loved his son, Grayson, endlessly. Left to mourn and carry on his memory are his Granny, Shirley Virginia Pullen (Hooker), his Aunts, Wanda Jo (Harvey) Hooker-Eaton, Lisa Denise Hooker-Coleman, April Renae (Jeff) Anders, Uncle Gentry Ira (Debra) Parks, sister KeiLara Na'Shae Kelley, son Grayson Anthony Kelley, wife, Brianna Habeeb, his biggest cheerleader, fill-in mom his eldest cousin/aunt Gwendolyn Hooker, his favorite childhood cousin and playmate, Michael Coleman, his first family, cousins Shayla Bowden-Parks, Ashlee Quinn Hooker- Tomak, Amber Hooker, Tabatha Coleman, Jayquayla Booker-Parks, Kcorey Coleman, Raymond Coleman, Jason Holmes-Parks, and nephew Prince Love, and beloved niece, True Love, and two special cousins and life-time best friends, Anthony Mont'Clair Clark-Lee (whom his Aunt Tammy named her son Brandon after), and Joshuah Garnett Hooker-McClean, and a host of cousins, Aunts, Uncles, and family friends. Brandon grew up on the east side of Kalamazoo on Hotop and Trimble Avenue. One Scripture that Brandon loved was Isaiah 41:10 which says "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." No matter what Brandon passed through, he kept in touch and and was content to hear the voice of family members that loved him. May your memories of Brandon cause you to smile deeply, and just as Jehovah's joy was his strength, may it be yours as well. In lieu of flowers please make in-kind donations to organizations he volunteered and worked for throughout the years, Helping Other People Exceed (HOPE) thru Navigation, Mothers of Hope, or Northside Association for Community Development. The family of Brandon Kelley extends sincere thanks to Bronson Methodist Hospital Intensive Care Unit for their tact, grace, and attentiveness to Brandon as he fought for his life.
