Bonnie Jean was born on June 17, 1945 (Father's Day) to Austin L. and Ruth L. (Davis) Pease in Kalamazoo, MI. She was later adopted by her Step-father, Robert Jacobs in 1956.

Bonnie graduated from Battle Creek Central High School in 1963. She attended Carnegie College in Cleveland, Ohio to become a Registered Medical Assistant. After working for general surgeons for a few years, Bonnie completed courses from the American Academy of Ophthalmology and JCAPHO where she achieved her Certification as an Ophthalmic Technician. She retired from Grand Rapids Ophthalmology after 20 years as Director of Clinic Operations. She was an avid Flutist in school and carried a love for music throughout her life. Bonnie enjoyed planting flowers and watching all of the birds that she and Dan fed together. She was a dedicated fan of Western Michigan University, along with her husband Dan for many years - always insisting that all her boys stand and face the band when they played at halftime. Bonnie attended countless Little League baseball games for many years, and was supportive of all the boys endeavors as they grew up.

In 1980 Bonnie married her Lake Louise Baptist Church Camp sweetheart, Danny L. Kellay and blended their families together raising sons Michael David Foster (Denise), David Jason Kellay (Jessica), Michael Brian Kellay (Jennifer) and Phillip Ashley Foster (Amanda). She is also survived by grandchildren Michael Foster (Kathryn), Tyler Foster (Chasity), Ashley Foster, Kingston Foster, Caleb Mishler, Lacy Llera, Haley, and Ashton Krahn, Gracyn Kellay, Sarah Kellay, Alex Kellay; great-grandchildren Steven, Kaylee, McKayla, Owen, Bailey, Riggs; siblings Ronald Pease (Sylvia), and Sharon Davis; half siblings Mark Pease (Karen), Lynn Pease Hayes (Don), Jim Pease (Julie), Rosalie (Jacobs) Diede (Scott); as well as 10 nieces and nephews, and 49 great-nieces and nephews.

Bonnie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
