Bob Kirby

Bob Kirby 81, of Glenn, MI, passed away suddenly in Grand Rapids on May 15, 2023 after a brief battle with heart failure. Bob was born on July 17, 1941 to George and Helen (Kirby) Morris in Kalamazoo, MI.

Bob was predeceased by his parents, George and Helen (Kirby) Morris and his wife, Zaiga Kirby. Bob graduated from St. Augustine in 1959, he went on to college in Boston, MA.

Bob worked at American Inks and Coatings for 35 years. He rose through the ranks and retired as their national sales manager in 2003.

Bob met and fell in love with his wife, Zaiga Kirby in the mid-60"s. They were married in 1965 and were with each other through all of life's ups and downs, until Zaiga's untimely death in 2003. Bob and Zaiga had 2 children, Krissa and Rob. Bob was a devoted father, husband, and friend. He supported us all throughout the many accomplishments and difficulties of our lives. Bob was an avid outdoorsman and could be found golfing, skiing, hunting and fishing in his leisure.

Bob is survived in death by his brother, Leighton; his

children, Krissa and Rob; and his three beautiful grand-daughters, Kaitlin, Ava, and Karina.

Bob's memorial service is TBD. Family and friends will be notified of the service which will be held at Glenn Shores.
