Hoare, Beverly J. 12/15/1933 - 7/12/2022 Kalamazoo Beverly J. Hoare passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at the age of 88. She was born in Kalamazoo to the late Dr. Thomas and Dena (Rysenga) Schrier on December 15, 1933. Beverly was united in marriage to Rolland "Rollie" Hoare on September 10, 1954, and together they shared 65 years of marriage until his death in 2020. She was a longtime employee of First National Bank and retired from Sears in Customer Service. She and Rollie both loved snowmobiling, traveling, spending time at their home in Florida and at the beaches and lakes. She loved her family gatherings, holidays, playing cards, reading, and playing handheld video games. Beverly also enjoyed watching NCIS and Hallmark. She never met a Bloody Mary she didn't like. She loved to pamper herself and rarely would you catch her without a manicure or perm. She will be missed very much by everyone she touched. Surviving are her three children, Cheryl Garrison of Rockford, MI, Robert (Terri) Hoare of Mattawan, MI, and Thomas (Tammy) Hoare of Aurora, CO. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Courtney, Elizabeth, Brittany, Adam, and Patrick; five great grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley Corum, and Julia Nikitas; sister-in-law, Wanda Hite; and her beloved cat, Chloe. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Rolland. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 16, 2022, from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services 622 S. Burdick St. Kalamazoo, MI 49007.
