Age 80, died peacefully on July 10, 2017 at Bronson Hospital. Bev was born February 3, 1937 in Lansing, the daughter of Robert and Betty (French) Bowers. She taught 8th grade history at St. Monica School for 37 years. Bev enjoyed her flower garden, was an avid ND fan and cherished her time with family. Members of her family include her husband of 58 years, James Hillis; a daughter, Kelly (Carl) Spence; and 3 grandchildren: Connor, Corey and Conrad. Cremation will take place and private services will be held.
