Kline, Betty 1/2/1934 - 12/10/2021 Three Rivers Betty Lou Kline, 87, of Three Rivers, passed away Friday, December 10, 2021 at Rose Arbor Hospice in Kalamazoo. She was born January 2, 1934 in Palestine, IL, the daughter of Victor and Barbara (Wilder) Correll. When she was 3, Betty and her mother moved to Lansing, MI. As a young adult Betty moved to Kalamazoo. Betty worked as a receptionist in the optometry office of Dr. Jack Hill, and as a product demonstrator for Show and Tell at Meijer. On October 30, 1955, she married Jesse Kline in Three Rivers, MI. Betty was an active member of Center Park United Methodist Church for 60 years and was active in the Three Rivers Health Auxiliary for 50 years, especially with its signature Lights of Love fundraiser of which she was a founding member. She was also involved in Red Hatters and Chatty Chicks. She enjoyed family, collecting angels, traveling, jigsaw puzzles and league bowling. Remaining to cherish her memory are two sons, Dennis Kline of Fremont and Doug (Marie) Kline of Three Rivers; one daughter, Vikki Kline of Three Rivers; one granddaughter, Meghan (Dan) Kline-Tuls of Chicago, IL; one great-grandson, Henry Kline-Tuls. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband, Jesse, in 2012. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 14, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Hohner Funeral Home, 1004 Arnold St., Three Rivers. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Donations in Betty's memory may be directed to Three Rivers Health Auxiliary or Pathfinder Educational Center. Envelopes are available at the funeral home in care of her arrangements. Betty was known for the many cards with hand-written notes she would send to friends and family.
