Betty Jane (Kline) Dibble passed away peacefully June 2, 2022 at her home in Vicksburg, Michigan. She was born on March 27, 1928 in Lawton, Michigan to Verelyn Joseph and Wima Lucille (Cooper) Kline. She was the oldest and last surviving of 3 siblings; Barbara Lucille (Kline) Eberstein, Janet L Hardy and Verelyn Joseph Kline Jr. Betty married Elwood LaVerne Dibble on March 5, 1948 and was happily married for 43 years until his passing in June 1991. Elwood and Betty worked at the Simpson Paper Company "The Mill" for 35 years where she was the only woman supervisor in the local organization until her retirement. After their retirement they moved to a farm on "V" Avenue where many friends gathered, played cards and truly enjoyed long lasting friendships. Betty moved into the Village of Vicksburg after Elwood's passing and continued to be active with her friends, the community and supporting the local businesses. You could always find Betty watching the Tigers and sitting on her porch waving at everyone that passed her corner street. She loved to golf, travel and visit with friends and family. Betty loved to cook and expected everyone to be as intuitive as she was at making every dish perfect. Betty raised two children Charles "Chuck" Dibble (deceased 2003) and Doreen (Dibble) Swim who still resides in Vicksburg, Michigan. Betty was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, great aunt and friend. She loved her family and never forgot anyone's birthday or special occasion. Betty is survived by her daughter: Doreen; six grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She preceded in death by her beloved husband, Elwood; one son and one grandson. The family would like to give special recognition to the Vicksburg Family Home Care and Centrica Care Navigators for their kind care and support. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 7th from 4 to 7pm at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 8th at 11am at the same location.
