Betty Cherette

Cherette, Betty Galesburg, Michigan Betty Jean Cherette, age 84 of Galesburg, died on October 10, 2021. She was born April 20, 1937, in Wolfe County, Kentucky, the daughter of Noah and Nora Creech. From the age if 2 years she was raised in Bloomingdale, Michigan, where her parents moved. Betty was the 7th of 8 children. In addition to her parents, her 4 sisters and 2 brothers preceded her in death. She is survived by her son Michael Morford and her daughter Teri Lee Davis, both of Florida, along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her brother Paul Creech, and her brother-in-law Ralph "Stub" Johnson of Bloomingdale. In 1980, she married Bob Cherette, who sadly passed away in 2008. From this union she had many friends who remained close.
