Berta Kristine Jones

Berta Kristine Jones, 78, of Portage, MI, passed away on Monday, January 29 from natural causes. She was predeceased by her parents, Hurbert and Barbara Jones, of Battle Creek. She leaves behind her sons, Mark Toussaint and Todd Toussaint, and her sisters, Lynne Wirt and Julie Jones Gorsalitz.

Berta spent her working years at Upjohn Pharmaceutical. She loved to cook, and, in later years, supported many wildlife charities. She was unfailingly kind & an inspiration to all.

The Celebration of Berta's Life is scheduled for Saturday, May 4 at Villas of Stonehenge, 2500 Bluestone Cir., Kalamazoo, 49009, in the Clubhouse, between 1:00pm and 4:00pm. This is a public event.

Berta being Berta, this is a casual event. All are welcome.
