Barbara Taraskiewicz

Taraskiewicz, Barbara 3/6/1947 - 1/15/2023 Detroit Barbara Helen Taraskiewicz, 75 years old, Kalamazoo, MI. She died peacefully in her sleep on January 15, 2023. Barbara was raised in Detroit, MI. She attended Western Michigan University and made Kalamazoo, MI, her home. She worked for 30 years with Kalamazoo Valley Community College in Administration. Preceded in Death by her parents, Frank Taraskiewicz and Bernice Taraskiewicz. She is survived by her sister, Anna Marie (the late Danny) Murphy and her brother, Frank (Charlene) Taraskiewicz, 12 nieces and nephews, 19 great nieces and nephews. Visitation for Barbara will be held on Monday from 3:00 pm - 8:00 p.m. at Edward Swanson & Son Funeral Home 30351 Dequindre Road Madison Heights, Michigan. In-state Tuesday 9:30 a.m. until time of mass 10:00 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church 32000 Mound Road Warren, Michigan. Interment Resurrection Cemetery Clinton Township, Michigan.
