Barbara June Kline, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished member of the Schoolcraft community, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2023, at the age of 96. Her unwavering love and dedication to her family, her vibrant spirit, and her countless contributions to her community will forever be remembered.

June was born on June 6, 1926, in Schoolcraft, MI, to Alvin C. Forsyth and Helen K. (Harrison) Forsyth. Growing up in a farming family just outside of Schoolcraft, June developed a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for the simple pleasures of life.

On November 28, 1945, June married the love of her life, Eugene H. Kline. Together, they embarked on a lifelong journey, creating a home filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. June and Eugene were blessed with three children: Ray (Cindy) Kline of Sturgis, Barbara Savage of Ithaca, and Scott (Vickie) Kline of Burr Oak.

June's love extended to her grandchildren, Shane Kline, Rinea (Dave) Peterson, Kyle (Emily) Kline, Chasity (Ben Girard) Savage, Brandon Kline, Emily Kline, and Andrew Kline. She adored her great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life.

June was a pillar of support for her family, actively participating in various community activities. She dedicated her time to organizations such as Boy Scouts, 4-H, Little League, and Band Boosters, always ensuring that her loved ones had the encouragement they needed to thrive. June's nurturing nature extended beyond her immediate family, as she also enjoyed arranging flowers for the church and volunteering at Bingo events.

After her husband's passing, June moved back to Schoolcraft, where she found employment at the Schoolcraft Bank. Her dedication and strong work ethic were evident throughout her many years of service. Upon her retirement from the bank, June began a new chapter in her life, working at Norma's Antiques, where she shared her passion for unique treasures with others. June's curiosity and zest for life were evident in her various hobbies and interests. She found joy in spending time with her family, indulging in crafts, tending to her garden, creating beautiful quilts, exploring antiquing, attending auctions, and tracing her family's genealogy alongside her sisters, Marilyn Fuller and Beverly Parsons.

A Celebration of Life service in honor of June Kline will be held on July 15 at 11:00 am at the Schoolcraft United Methodist Church, 342 North Grand Street, Schoolcraft, MI 49087 . Family, friends, and all those whose lives were touched by June are invited to come together, share stories, and pay tribute to a remarkable woman who left an indelible mark on the hearts of many.

June Kline will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love, strength, and kindness will continue to inspire and guide us in our lives.

May her soul rest in eternal peace.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in June's memory to Transitions Hospice. While at www.amsfuneralhomes.com please take time to sign June's guestbook and/or share a memory with her family.
