Hudson, Anthony "Tony" 1/3/1987 - 3/12/2021 Kalamazoo Township Anthony Arlen "Tony" Hudson age 34 of Kalamazoo, Michigan passed away Friday, March 12, 2021 in Kalamazoo Township, Michigan due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born January 3, 1987 in Fort Bragg, North Carolina son of Anthony and Diana (Wheeler) Hudson. Tony resided most of his life in Kalamazoo and was proud to be a descendant of the Little Traverse Bay Band of Odawa Indians. For the past 10 years he had been employed as a journeyman machinist at Summit Polymers. For many years he worked at Thompson Lawn Service in Kalamazoo. Tony was a member of the Disc Golf Association and enjoyed playing disc golf, bowling and golfing. He also enjoyed music and attending live concerts and loved his Jeep and his dog Wayne. Tony had hobbies and involvements but what he was most proud of and loved so very deeply was his daughter Bailey. He is survived by one daughter: Bailey Hudson of Decatur; parents: Anthony Hudson of Ann Arbor and Diana Hudson of Kalamazoo; two sisters: Brit Wheeler of Detroit and Anna Hudson of Troy; grandparents: Margaret "Peggy" Hudson of Harbor Springs and Ronald Wheeler of Kalamazoo; his girlfriend: Ashley Porter of Vicksburg and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather: Arlen Hudson. In accordance with family wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial graveside service and burial of the ashes will take place at 10:00 A.M. Saturday at the Burr Oak Cemetery in Burr Oak. Pastor Sam Maddox of the Three Rivers Wesleyan Church will officiate. The Hackman Family Funeral Homes of Sturgis is entrusted with the arrangements. Memorial donations would be appreciated to the GoFundMe account at https://gofund.me/215af163. Monies raised will be used for the future needs of Bailey.
