CRINER, ANTHONY NICOLAS 4/9/1976 - 7/22/2021 Anthony "Andy" was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The son of Daniel and Doris Criner. He went to St. Margarete's School. He once was asked where he got his freckles and he said they were angel Kisses. He graduated from Otsego High School. He attended Georgia Military College. He worked at Mackinaw Island and also lived in Traverse City. He took piano lessons and gymnastics classes. He liked swimming in a large pool and doing backwards dives. He enjoyed watching the Summer Olympics. He said his dream trip was to go to the Winter Olympics in Japan. He loved all sports and was a great pitcher. He loved skiing and being in competition. Andy loved to go ice fishing in the winter. He loved fishing with his boat on Lake Michigan. He was a fishing lure collector and part member of the N.F.L.C.C. He went to lure shows out of state. He sold lures online to the Japanese and became their friend. They would send him small gifts in appreciation. Over the years he worked in construction. He read astronomy books and watched shows presented by Neil Tyson, Andy loved nature and the outdoors. He visited national parks. His favorite was the Teton National Park. He loved animals. He fed the birds, and had a hummingbird feeder. He liked anything with angels. He was preceded by his father, Daniel, his brother, Joshua and an infant sister, Rose. He is survived by his mother, Doris and many family in Chicago and CA. Cremation has taken place. There will be a private service. A memorial Mass at St. Monica's Church will be held at a later date. Good night sweet prince, May the angels of heaven lead you safely home.
