Anne Harris

Harris, Anne H. Kalamazoo Anne passed away Friday, September 9, 2016 in Kalamazoo at the age of 75. She was born on May 19, 1941 in Lansing, MI, the daughter of Fritz and Elsie (Chermak) Frese and has been a longtime Kalamazoo area resident. She worked for many years at the law firm of Fox, Thompson, Morris, Stover and O'Connor. Anne was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and volunteered at Borgess Hospital and Meals on Wheels. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, bowling, playing tennis, square dancing, card parties, traveling and weekends at her cottage in Greenville. Anne also cherished her time spent sharing memories with her cousin Eleanor Ling. On October 10, 1959 Anne was united in marriage to Larry L. Harris who preceded her in death on April 1, 2016. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Fred Frese. Surviving are a son, Randy (Christy) Harris; a daughter, Anne (Rob) Pincus; seven grandchildren, Griffen Brandt, Elle Brandt, Jonathan Pincus, Tyler Harris, Amelia Harris, Abigail Harris and Rebecca Harris; a brother, Paul (Jackie) Frese; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Tuesday, September 13th and Wednesday September 14th from 10-11AM at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th Street. A service to celebrate Anne's life will be held 11:00AM Thursday, September 14th at the Westside Chapel with Pastor Jerry Duggins officiating. Entombment will follow in Mt.
