SCHIPPER, ANDREW GORDON Hudsonville Our precious covenant son, Andrew Gordon Schipper, age 29, of Hudsonville, was received into the arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, October 15, 2013. He will be lovingly missed and treasured by his father and mother, Tom and Luanne Schipper; his siblings, Jason and Kimberly (Levi and Jadelyn) Schipper, Dirk Schipper, Nicole Schipper, Betsy and Andrew Krikke; his grandparents, Gordon and Eileen Terpstra and Harold and Edna Schipper; many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Andy was a beautiful person who touched many lives with his gentle, compassionate heart. He appreciated God's beauty in music, literature, and nature and loved to bring comfort and wisdom to those in pain. His love for the Lord and Savior was evident in his walk. He worked for many years in the healthcare field with his greatest passion being able to help those with mental illness. He served a short time in the Navy and touched many lives there, as a leader and friend. Funeral services for Andy will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. at the Trinity Protestant Reformed Church, 3385 Van Buren St. Hudsonville, MI 49426, with Rev. Nate Decker officiating. Interment Georgetown Cemetery. Friends and relatives may meet with the family at the VanderLaan Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 P.M.
