Alice Munting

Munting, Alice Ann "Goin fishin" today in Heaven. I'll see all again one day. Alice passed away Thursday, January 22, 2015 at the age of 89. She was born November 16, 1925 to the late Dewey and Sinnie (Tebos) Munting. Alice graduated from Kalamazoo Central High School in January 1944. She started her career the following Monday at The Upjohn Company. Alice worked as pharmacy technician for 37 years. Alice enjoyed playing golf and participated on a bowling league. She was an avid traveler to places such a California, New York, Chicago, Traverse City, and frequented Florida. She loved to drive her car and was usually the primary driver of her friends. She loved to bake cookies for her many coffee drinkers on Sundays. After retirement she volunteered her time at Loaves and Fishes. Alice was a very giving person who would help anybody if needed. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Alice is survived by her siblings, Carol (Robin) Ritsema, Beatrice Koning and Nancy Kramer; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by siblings, Claudine Powers and Gerald Munting. A private burial has taken place in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Gardens South.
