Died Wednesday evening March 18, 2020 in Battle Creek, Michigan. Graveside services will be held 11 o'clock Monday, June 29th in Prairie Home Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Died Wednesday evening March 18, 2020 in Battle Creek, Michigan. Aletha was born March 27, 1938 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a daughter of Wayne and Audrey (Fenwick) Holcomb. She had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was employed with the U.S. Postal Service for 25 years before retiring. She was a member of the Climax United Methodist Church. Aletha was preceded in death by her parents; and 3 brothers, James Holcomb, and James and William Bauman. She is survived by 3 children, Todd (Debrah) Cousins of Stephenville, TX, Karen Rial of Hutchinson, KS, and Dawn (David) Huckfeldt of Homer, MI; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; a brother, Kenneth Holcomb of East Leroy, MI; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be announced and held at a later date at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services, 205 E Maple St., Climax, MI 49034.
