Aileen Conley

Aileen Conley, age 80 of Albion passed away Sunday, November 7, 2010 at her residence. She was born November 27, 1929 in Garrett, Kentucky to Bev and Elizabeth (Warrens) Scott. On August 30, 1947 she married Robert L. Conley who survives. She was a payroll clerk for Corning Glass for 14 years then she was an Administrative Assistant for the Mar-Lee schools for 16 years. Aileen was a member of the Grace Free Will Baptist Church in Albion where she sang for 65 years, she also was a Sunday school teacher and treasurer for the church. She enjoyed quilting, cooking, gardening and being a softball coach. Aileen is survived by her husband, Robert "Bob" Conley of Albion; daughter, Priscilla (Larry) Craighead of Shelby, OH; sons, Tom (Debbie) Conley of Bloomington, IL, Doug (Darla) Conley of Albion; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Gorman (Hester) Scott of Mousie, KY Funeral Service will be Thursday, November 11, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, Michigan with Rev. Earl Martin officiating. Burial will be at Rice Creek Cemetery, Lee Township. Visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday, November 10, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
