McCormack, Agnes R. "Becky" Kalamazoo, MI We regretfully announce the passing of Agnes Rebecca (Bagwell) McCormack of Kalamazoo, Michigan on March 15, 2022. She fought hard to make it back to us. Ultimately, her body was just too tired to fight any more. She passed away peacefully with her loving husband and children by her side. Anyone who had the pleasure of meeting her knew immediately the type of person she was. Becky was strong, feisty and the most loving woman to ever walk this earth and our family was blessed to have her for the short time we did. She let you know what she thought and was always ready with a witty comment. She always had a smile, hug, and a kiss ready for the taking. August 11th, 1988, she married her soulmate, Paul McCormack. A love that was unwavering, through the good times and the worst of times. An unconditional true love that many never get to experience in a lifetime. Together they took on the task of raising a blended family of three girls and a boy. Becky was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who gave her all to her family. We will never be able to fill the space left behind by her. Gardening was her passion. There wasn't a question she couldn't answer about any rose on the planet. Every year she would say, "I'm not putting any more flowers out this year." Every spring the bulbs, bushes, and plants she ordered over the winter would magically appear. Then the adventure of going to the nurseries "just to see what they have" would begin. Of course, can't forget the vegetables. To pass the dreary winter she worked her magic on puzzles. The harder the subject the better. She loved to go fishing and having family fish fries. Having her family near is what gave her the most joy. Becky was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Butler, her father, Joe Bagwell and sister, Linda Devries. She is survived by her beloved husband Paul McCormack; siblings Janice Lehto, Vickie Whitlock, Jim Sherrill, Anita (Jim) Colyott, and Tommy (Rebecca) Bagwell; sister-in-law, Maryann Hufford; daughters, Julie Winchester, Jeannia (Rob) Keene and Deana (Dave) Kelmer; son, Eddie (Heidi) McCormack; grandchildren, Ashley (Riley) Middleton, Brandon (Triska) Winchester, Derek Hibbert, Amberly McCormack, Josh McCormack, Isys (Trever Nelsen) McCormack, Aaliyah Winchester, Alenah Kelmer, William McCormack, Koda McCormack, and Tyler McCormack; great-grandchildren, Adele Noel, Ahna Lamber, Lillyian, Delmar, and Robert Harley; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Visitation will be 10:30 to 12:00 Monday morning, March 21, 2022, at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services, 622 S. Burdick St, Kalamazoo MI 49007. Following visitation, we will meet at Ft. Custer National Cemetery for a committal service at 1:00. Those wishing to attend should be in the cemetery's funeral assembly area by 12:45.
