A.D. Ware

A.D. Ware, age 85, of Kalamazoo, MI passed away peacefully at home with his family on February 23, 2017. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Ware, his children; Lora (Darrell), Chad, Malcolm (Kim) and Mark (Johnette). His grandchildren; Kristi, Kalie, Travis and several others. A.D. was an extraordinary man to know and love. It would be hard to find a more devoted family man. He was always there whenever his loved ones needed him. He grew up in Vicksburg, Mississippi. As a young man, A.D. served in the United States Army as part of the 82nd Airborne Division during the Korean War. While in the service he was a paratrooper and made 32 jumps. A.D. also served in the medical corps. He enjoyed to bowl, cook, watch sports, fish and spend time with his loved ones. He was happily married for over 30 years to his wife, Joyce Ware. Deeply loved, A.D. will be forever missed. Cremation has taken place. Avink Funeral Home. A visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 11, 2017, with a 2:00 p.m. Memorial Service following at the Faith Temple Church of God, 402 S. Westnedge Avenue, Kalamazoo, MI.
