Troy enjoyed sports in school and participated in cross country running. He also liked skate boarding and later enjoyed fishing and hunting. Troy loved to play the guitar and was very good at it.

Troy was a man who could make you smile by saying or doing the most unlikely things. He always offered a helping hand to anyone who was in need. He never let others negativity on life slow or bring him down. He never had a judgmental view on how others lived their life. “To each their own” is something he would always say.

He would joke and laugh with you and make the time spent with him memorable. The time may be spent running into the woods, climbing a tree, just to see if he could do it, to playing a game of shot glass, or chess.

He lived life with no boundaries at the same time had a heart of gold. Troy was full of love and cared for others. If he saw you needed a shoulder to cry on he was there for you. That’s the way Troy did things. He was a good caring free spirit who will be missed and always remembered.

A private visitation will take place and burial will be in North Holland Cemetery. Arrangements are by Dykstra Funeral Home – Northwood chapel. To sign an on-line registry or leave a memory please visit www.dykstrafuneralhome.com
