Pamela Hoedema, age 68, passed away on July 25, in her home, surrounded by her children, Becky and Brian. Pam was preceded in death by her husband, David Hoedema, her father, Joseph Israels, and her mother, Esther Israels. She is survived by her siblings, Jerry Israels (Joyce), Dick Israels (Cora), Jan DeZeeuw (Rich) and Bob Israels (Norma). She is survived by her children, Rebecca Hoedema (Mike Langan) and Brian Hoedema (Heather) and 4 grandchildren (Emma Hoedema, Jack Langan, Grady Langan and Will Langan).
Pam worked most recently as a radiology technician at Holland Hospital. She was an avid quilter and won many awards for her quilts. She enjoyed sitting by the lake, shopping and hosting family gatherings with home cooked meals, always followed by dessert.
Visitation will be 11 am to 12 noon on Tuesday, July 28 at the Dykstra Funeral Home-Mulder Chapel, 188 West 32nd Street. Burial will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery.
