Larry Gene Curry passed away at his home on September 4, 2019 surrounded by family.

Larry was born to Russell and Florence (Knight) Curry on August 22, 1942.

He joined the Air Force in 1962 where he served 4 years as a firefighter, stationed in Bossier City, Louisiana. He worked for General Motors for 30 years until his retirement.

On April 17, 1964, he married Sharon (Chick) Martin and they spent the next 55 years together, whom survives. He is also survived by his children Brenda (Bobbie Jo) Ritchie and David (Julie) Curry. Grandchildren, Adam (Jen) Dill, Morgan Dill, Garrett Dill, Tanner Curry, Cayden Curry, Teagan Curry and Zoie Ritchie. Great-grandchildren Brantley, Ryker, Grayson and Isabella. His siblings, Jerry, Shirley and Jack.

He had two favorite pastimes, mowing the fields behind their home with his 1949 tractor and watching his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren playing sports. The sport didn't matter, the child playing was what mattered.

He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Russ and Bob.

It is Larry's wishes to be cremated with no visitation or memorial. If you wish to donate in his honor, please donate to Wings of Hope Hospice in Allegan or Martin High School Athletic Boosters.
