John Hengst

John William Hengst, age 81 of Holland went to be with his Lord Wednesday October 7, 2015. John was born in Blyje, Friesland in 1934, the son of the late William and Janet Hengst. John was a member of Graafschaap CRC. He was also preceded in death by his brother Richard Hengst of Alberta Canada, his sons Jeffery Hengst in 2007 and Kenneth Hengst in March of this year, 2015.

John is survived and will be lovingly remembered by his wife Jean Hengst, children Daniel and Rhonda Hengst of Holland, Michael and Darcie Hengst of Holland, Mark and Karen Hengst of Holland, Susan Hengst of NY, NY and daughter in law Deb Hengst of Zeeland. He is also survived by brothers and sister Bill and Carol Hengst of Alberta Canada, Dick and Paulina Hengst of Holland, Sam and Silvia Vander Galien of Wisconsin, 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, He is also survived by his in laws Richard and Lavina Weerstra, John and Barb Weerstra, Cecil and Judy Weerstra, Ted and Donna Weerstra, Gerald Jipping and many nieces and nephews.

There will be a visitation at 11:00am followed by a memorial service at 12:30 pm October 13 at Graafschaap CRC 5973 Church St. Holland, MI 49423
